If one ever finds themselves wanting in character I have a perfect tonic. Try knitting socks and you will find yourself the student of patience. Four needles, three or four colors, slippery needles. That proud feeling of accomplishing a few more rounds...then realizing you made a mistake and must rip those lovely stitches all out and start again. I assure you, this will tempt one to give in to fustration---but remember patience. Patience takes a deep breath, remains calm, and determines to try again---with joy!
These mentors charge not one penny and are our ready teachers in everyday life, if we will simply recognize them and listen to what they have to say.
